“We hit the ball hard today with runners on,” Johnson said. “Just came up with zilch.”

“[Zimmermann‘s] been as consistent as any of the guys,” he added, his right-hander lowering his ERA to 2.89 despite a deceiving 3-6 record. “What’s his record, he’s [3-6]? He’s pitched a heck of a lot better than that. That’s for dang sure.”
