ANALYSIS/OPINION:

After nature dealt the people of New York and New Jersey a devastating blow in the form of Hurricane Sandy, certain people dealt an even more crushing blow with price gouging of everything from gasoline, food and water to emergency supplies and hotel rooms.

I certainly hope New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is able to find enough evidence in his investigation to prosecute offenders. It is despicable and inhumane to take advantage of people who have been hurt by a deadly natural disaster. Such people need help, not more suffering, from their community.
