LETTER TO THE EDITOR: The real fibbers

Ever since the first presidential debate of 2012, the Obama campaign has accused GOP challengers Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Paul Ryan of lying. It is ironic that those accusations have been made, especially considering the Obama administration’s response as to what actually occurred at our consulate in Libya on Sept. 11, 2012.

What about Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s outright lie during his debate with Mr. Ryan, in which he stated that Obamacare would not force Catholic institutions to violate their religious liberties by providing contraceptive services? The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has condemned his statement as false.

In 2008, the Obama campaign’s motto was “Change we can believe in.” In 2012, Americans have to ask themselves, “Can we really believe anything they say?”
