NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Yankees have promoted Eduardo Nunez from Triple-A and put him in the starting lineup against Baltimore.

Nunez was listed as the designated hitter Saturday. He has previously played the infield and outfield for the AL East-leading Yankees.

Nunez was among six players promoted from the minors as the big league roster expanded. Right-handers Cory Wade and Adam Warren, lefty Justin Thomas and catcher Francisco Cervelli were recalled from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Outfielder Chris Dickerson was added to the roster and infielder Ramiro Pena was designated for assignment.
