Police have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing death of another man near the Waterfront Metro station just after midnight Sunday.
The victim, an adult male, was stabbed in the chest on the 200 block of N Street Southwest at 12:08 a.m., said D.C. police spokesman Officer Anthony Clay. The man was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. His name was not released on Sunday afternoon because next-of-kin had not been notified.
A man was arrested in connection with the stabbing, but police had no details on Sunday about who the suspect is or what he could be charged with.
