Montgomery County police were searching Sunday for a Wheaton man wanted in the death of a woman who lived with him.
According to the Montgomery County police blog, police responding to a domestic assault at about 3:31 a.m. Sunday found 37-year-old Marcello Rocio Nikaury dead in the stairwell of her apartment in the 2200 block of Georgian Way.
Police obtained a warrant on charges of first-degree murder for 31-year-old Martire Puente-Fulcar, who lived in the apartment with Ms. Nikaury and three children.
Mr. Puente-Fulcar is described as 6-foot one-inch and 190 lbs., police said. He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and tan pants. He may be driving a newer black Ford Edge with Maryland temporary tags T558404.
