When the pilgrims first settled here, they tried the “communal” way of life and discovered that the energetic, ambitious, 80-hour-week worker got the same amount of property and the same amount of goods as the lazy freeloader and the people decided on a different system. We call it capitalism.

Capitalism is certainly not perfect, but it created the most productive, affluent nation in the history of mankind: the good old United States of America. Certainly, some unfortunates will slip through the cracks and will need help getting by; that’s what churches and countless charities are good at.

Let the free market system roll on. Get the bloated government out of the way and let this country get back to the plan of our Founding Fathers.
