Paula Deen is headlining the Metro Cooking and Entertainment Show in Houston next month, but you wouldn't know it because two ticket sellers are refusing to advertise her name, TMZ first reported.
Both major, deal-of-the-day websites Groupon and Livingsocial are distancing themselves from the embattled TV chef by refusing to mention her in their discount offers for the expo.
Instead, they're featuring much lesser-known chefs such as Terry French and Martie Duncan, and sources told TMZ that ticket sales are suffering.
"It's more difficult — I'm not going to kid — not having those tools [Miss Dean and her sons] to help sell tickets, but we are fighting for Paula," a representative said.
Miss Deen has been with the expo for eight years, TMZ reported. The event will be her first public appearance since she settled a racial discrimination lawsuit filed against her in Georgia.
