Robert “Bobby” Tufts was re-elected Sunday to serve his second term as the mayor of Dorset, Minn. — before the 4-year-old even sets foot in a preschool.

Bobby’s name was picked Sunday during the annual Taste of Dorset festival to be mayor of the tiny town of only a couple dozen people, Politico reported. Anyone could vote as many times as they wanted for $1 per vote, the paper said.

He was only 3 when he won as mayor last year. His mother, Emma Tufts, said she and her son got teary-eyed when his name was pulled for re-election.

Bobby, whose hobbies include fishing and eating ice cream, starts preschool this fall. His mom said his agenda includes raising money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley in Fargo, N.D., and a new welcome sign for Dorset, Politico reported.
