A Fairfax woman found dead in an apartment fire in Reston was pregnant, police said Tuesday.
Jennifer Lynne Pearson, 38, of the 12000 block of Waterside View Drive, was found in her apartment suffering from “trauma to her upper body” police said.
Emergency personnel had been called to her home early Monday for reports of smoke coming from her second-floor apartment.
County police and fire officials said the fire was intentionally set and ruled Ms. Pearson’s death a homicide.
