USTA picks Delray Beach Tennis Center for Fed Cup

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - The U.S. Fed Cup team’s playoff against Sweden on April 20-21 will be played at the Delray Beach Tennis Center.

The U.S. Tennis Association announced the choice of Delray Beach, Fla., as host city on Tuesday.

The Delray Beach Tennis Center will be the first U.S. venue to have staged three Fed Cup matchups. The United States beat Belgium in 2005 and 2007 there.

The Sweden-U.S. winner will return to the main World Group for Fed Cup in 2014, with a chance to win the title.

This will be the fifth time the countries face each other in the Fed Cup. The U.S. leads Sweden 3-1.
