Snowmobiler Caleb Moore died Thursday after being injured in a crash last week during the Winter X Games in Colorado.
Mr. Moore was in critical condition since attempting a backflip at the event in Aspen.
After initially diagnosing Mr. Moore, 25, with a concussion, doctors soon discovered bleeding around his heart. He had emergency surgery at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction on Friday but suffered brain complications.
