There are many of us who feel, as our forebears did back during our nation's years under British rule, that taxation without genuine (and bipartisan) representation is tyranny. Moreover, anytime a politician forgets that after being elected to public office renders this nation no better off than a Third World country. As American citizens, we are all entitled to equal consideration and justice under the law. That is what we paid for with patriotic blood, sweat and tears more than 236 years ago. This may not be Lexington, Mass., on April 19, 1775, but then our nation's capital, along with those who are supposed to be our servants there, are not what they used to be, either.
