Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott, the top three players in the world rankings, will play together in the first two rounds of the U.S. Open at Merion.

It’s the third consecutive year the USGA has put the top three players together to open play. The group will start at 1:14 p.m. Thursday from the first tee, then go off early at 7:44 a.m. Friday.

Woods and McIlroy have never played a round together at a major.
