LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Obamacare’s repeal is worthy goal

House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan’s 2014 budget includes repeal of “Obamacare” (“Paul Ryan introduces GOP budget, sees balance in decade,” Web, Tuesday). Faint-hearted Republicans say President Obama was re-elected, and previous efforts to repeal this disastrous law have failed.

Yet one does not stop trying to save this nation because of political obstacles. Fighting against socialized medicine, decimation of the world’s greatest health care system and national bankruptcy is worth every ounce of our efforts. Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, is going to use every legislative maneuver available to defund or repeal Obamacare in the Senate. Every Republican should give their wholehearted support to these efforts.
