A Missouri high school junior faces a possible felony charge after her arrest for changing a classmate’s last name in the school’s yearbook to a sexually explicit term.

The 17-year-old Hickman High School student was arrested two weeks ago after she changed a student’s last name from Mastain to “masturbate.” She faces charges for first-degree property damage and harassment, CBS St. Louis reports.

The school decided the costs of printing more than 700 new yearbooks would be too great, and instead placed stickers on the altered pages with Raigan Mastain’s correct surname, CBS St. Louis reports.

“I hardly knew her at all,” said Ms. Mastain, who told CBS she thought the prank was done more out of immaturity than actual malice. “I barely worked with her. We weren’t friends. But I didn’t think I had any problems with her.”

Ms. Mastain, who graduated last week, said she believes the school’s no-nonsense policy is “appropriate.”

“The property damage is an enormous amount of money. It’s not to be taken lightly,” she said.
