Male immigrants, including illegals, have a significantly lower unemployment rate than American-born men, according to a new report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The agency reports that the unemployment rate for men born in the United States is 8.4 percent, compared to 7.5 percent for foreign-born men, The Washington Examiner first reported Wednesday.
The report did not specify percentages of legal and illegal immigrants separately, only describing those surveyed as "legally-admitted immigrants, refugees, temporary residents such as students and temporary workers, and undocumented immigrants."
