Another sandwich was thrown at Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard on Thursday during a school visit in Canberra.

The salami-stuffed projectile hit Ms. Gillard in the arm before tumbling to the ground, and no one has stepped forward to confess to the heinous crime, The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The prime minister was visiting Lyneham High School to announce that the ACT had signed up to the Gonski education funding reforms today, boosting funding for the territory’s schools by $190 million over five years, The Australian reports.

Ms. Gillard took the sandwich incident in stride when she was asked about it later at a press conference.

”They must have thought I was hungry,” she said.

ACT Chief Minister Katy Gallagher also made light of it, saying ”Schools are full of kids, kids occasionally do silly things,” The Sydney Morning Herald reports.

But it wasn’t the first time the PM was bopped by a boloney. A student at a Queensland school was suspended earlier this month after he chucked a Vegemite sandwich at the politician.

The Twitter hashtag #SandwichGate has gained significant traction since the incident.
