While the legality of the delay is challenged, others have made it known that they do not agree with the decision to postpone the vote.

“The people expressed their will to have an elected attorney general,” Mr. Gray said Thursday on Channel 8’s “NewsTalk” program. “People may have various opinions about whether that is or isn’t a good idea, but the people have spoken.”
