Three men were shot Wednesday night in the Buena Vista neighborhood of Southeast D.C., according to police.

No suspects have been identified in the shooting, which occurred in the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace around 9:40 p.m.

The three men told police they were outside when they were fired upon by unknown people.

One man was struck by gunfire in his lower back and was taken to a hospital, a Metropolitan Police Department spokesman said. Another man was hit in the elbow and shoulder, and the third was grazed by a bullet and refused medical treatment, police said.

No further information was available.
