Man who played ‘Austin Powers’ assassin charged with murder

- The Washington Times - Thursday, September 12, 2013

The man who played villain Random Task in "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" has been charged with murder in the death of his prison cellmate, TMZ first reported.

Prosecutors could pursue the death penalty for Joe Son, who was serving a life sentence in California's Wasco State Prison for torturing a woman.

In 2011, he reportedly killed his 50-year-old cellmate, Thomas Graham, who was serving a 2-year sentence for failing to register as a sex offender.

Law enforcement told TMZ that Son is a former MMA fighter, and he killed Graham in with a combination of swift kicks and punches.
