FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky-grown food will be served up during the Kentucky Derby Festival that leads up to the big race at Churchill Downs.

The state agriculture department says several thousand dollars’ worth of Kentucky Proud foods will be available during the festival.

The department says Kentucky food will be on the menu at the 58th annual They’re Off! Luncheon on Friday in Louisville. The estimated 1,500 guests will be served a meal that includes Kentucky-produced blueberries, pecans, sorghum, filets and bourbon-infused cheddar cheese.

Kentucky Proud has partnered with the Kentucky Derby for a decade and has worked with the Derby Festival for several years.
