STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma State has completed a three-game series sweep of West Virginia in Big 12 baseball in Morgantown, W. Va.

OSU scored four times in the first inning, once in the fifth and added two more runs in the eighth to hold off the Mountaneers 7-4 in Sunday’s game.

OSU’s Zach Fish drove in four runs for the Cowboys while Vince Wheeland allowed only an unearned run in 6.1 innings of relief to pick up the win and improve to 3-0 on the season. Brendan McCurry threw a scoreless ninth for his ninth save of the season.

OSU improves to 26-10 overall and 8-4 in Big 12 play while West Virginia falls to 16-15 on the season and 2-6 in the conference.
