LAS VEGAS (AP) - A 24-year-old man has been arrested in the stabbing death of his ex-girlfriend’s male companion in Las Vegas.

Cody Bradbury was booked into the Clark County jail on suspicion of murder after the Wednesday afternoon stabbing that killed Bruce Reid.

According to police, Bradbury was upset that his former girlfriend had left his Las Vegas apartment with Reid and knocked Reid’s motorcycle to the ground after spotting it outside a thrift store.

Bradbury is accused of stabbing Reid in the chest after Reid punched him in the face.

Bradbury told investigators he pulled the knife from the victim’s pocket and stabbed him because he was on top of him during the fight.

He was arrested a short time later on a nearby public bus.

Reid died after being taken to a hospital.
