WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. (AP) - The Dutchess County Medical Examiner is looking for answers after a man’s body was found on a village street.
Wappingers Falls Police Commissioner Carl Calabrese tells the Poughkeepsie Journal (http://pojonews.co/1tp553q ) that police received a call around 1 a.m. Saturday about a structure fire with someone possibly trapped inside. Officers found no fire, but found the body of 54-year-old William Long outside a house on Main Street.
An autopsy was done but the cause of death remains undetermined. Calabrese said officials expect to receive additional information from the medical examiner on Monday.
