ANALYSIS/OPINION:

November will offer Republicans the opportunity to strengthen their hold on the House of Representatives and to take control of the Senate.

Democrats have in their possession only contrived and deceptive issues. Can they claim a booming economy or even a normal, post-recession recovery? No. Are American families seeing the average $2,500 reduction in the cost of their health care plans? No. In fact, under Obamacare many have not been allowed to keep their existing health care plans or doctors.

Have questions about what really happened in Benghazi and who was responsible been answered? Again, no. Has any government official taken responsibility for or explained the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups? No.

In November, expect the Democrats to overplay the race card, calling all those who oppose the president’s policies racist. Expect them to insult our right to free speech by labeling those who oppose unfettered access to abortion “anti-woman” and those who oppose homosexual marriage on religious grounds “homophobic.”

In essence, the Democrats are the party of exclusion, intolerance and hypocrisy.

Despite all the failings of Democrats, Republicans can only attain victory with a united platform, which includes a replacement for Obamacare, an energy policy that results in energy independence and boosts the economy, a replacement of the tax code and real spending reductions to decrease debt.

Let’s nominate Republican candidates who believe in less government and lower spending and can articulate how conservative policies and free enterprise are the keys to moving up the financial ladder.
