LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Five pitchers combined on a five-hitter as the Springfield Cardinals dealt the Arkansas Travelers a 2-0 setback.

Jonathan Rodriguez and Curt Smith each drove in a run in the sixth inning Saturday to help the Cardinals to their fourth win in six games.

With 12 losses in 14 games the Travs fell into a tie for third place with Northwest Arkansas with an 8-14 record, while Springfield leads the division by two games at 12-10.

Neither starting pitcher lasted five innings on Saturday, but neither allowed a run. Orangel Arenas got the spot start for the Travs and fired 4.2 innings allowing just two base hits. The Cardinals got 4.2 scoreless innings from Kyle Hald in his second appearance at Double-A.
