What’s the next NASA space suit going to look like? Well, it’s up to you.

The nation’s space agency is holding a poll for people to decide what the design of the next experimental space suit will be. The poll results won’t change the functionality of the design — just what patterns and lights will appear on it.

A special website allows users to pick from three designs: “Biomimcry,” “Technology,” or “Trends in Society,” complete with 3D rendering of each design and a look at how all the lights on the suit will glow.

The vote is for “Z-2” suits, the latest in NASA’s experimental line of technology designed to replace the iconic Apollo-era space suits and its descendants worn by modern astronauts. The agency expects to have a fully built suit — including the picked design — by November.

Voting on the suit can be found at http://jscfeatures.jsc.nasa.gov/z2/ and closes April 15.
