CHICAGO (AP) - In a story April 4 about a recall of some meals served March 19 on three British Airways flights out of Miami, The Associated Press reported erroneously that consumers with questions should contact Dr. Paul Hall in Atlanta. Consumers with questions should contact Flying Food Group.
A corrected version of the story is below:
Caterer recalls meals served on British Airways
Flying Food Group announced Friday that its Char Grilled Asparagus and Grapefruit Appetizer meals may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly and others with weakened immune systems.
The company asserts the recall is a result of Flying Food Group’s internal microbiological testing program.
Although no illnesses have been reported, the company says consumers with questions should contact Flying Food Group.
