CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - Former Clemson infielder Taylor Harbin has returned to the baseball team as a student assistant coach.
Coach Jack Leggett announced Harbin’s return on Wednesday.
Harbin played at Clemson between 2005 and 2007 and was part of the team that reached the 2006 College World Series. Harbin hit .343 with 63 RBIs as a freshman and made the all-Atlantic Coast Conference team in 2005 and 2007.
He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the eighth round of the MLB draft in his junior season and reached as high as Triple A in eight seasons of minor league baseball.
