LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - The International Women’s Baseball Center is holding its annual symposium at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory.

The Saturday event will feature panel sessions with prominent women in baseball, to discuss the history of women in the sport and other topics.

The event begins at 10 a.m. with an introduction by the International Women’s Baseball Center in the museum’s Pee Wee Reese Gallery. University of Kentucky graduate and Marshall University history professor Kat Williams will deliver the keynote address.

The public is invited to the event, which is free.

Women and girls who attend the symposium in their team uniform for little league, baseball, softball or any sport they play will also receive free admission to the museum that day.
