ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) - A former Big 12 champion wrestler from Oklahoma State who was a three-time NAIA All-American has been named interim head wrestling coach at Ouachita Baptist University.

OBU athletic director David Sharp announced Monday that Chris Chionuma has been named interim coach after former head coach Kevin Ward was named head wrestling coach at the U.S. Military Academy.

Chionuma was a Big 12 champion as a senior at Oklahoma State and was a three-time NAIA All-American and a national champion at Lindenwood University in Missouri. Chionuma spent the past year as a graduate assistant at OBU.
