Breaking news … Kansas GM Conrad Holt, the co-winner of last month’s World Open in Northern Virginia, saw his summer get just that much better by winning the 115th U.S. Open in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend. Six players tied for first at 7½-1½, with Holt defeating IM Michael Mulyar in a blitz playoff to claim the title.
