FROSTBURG, Md. (AP) - Icy conditions caused eight separate car crashes on Interstate 68 in western Maryland.

Maryland State Police say the eight collisions on Monday afternoon involved 15 cars in all. They occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 68 near the Allegany/Garrett county line near Frostburg.
