BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) - A 28-year-old man faces a felony charge of attempting to disarm a police officer after an incident at Parx casino in Bensalem.

The Bucks County Courier-Times reported Wednesday (http://bit.ly/1CK7Ks8 ) that police said Lionel Kogan of Philadelphia was intoxicated when he asked a state trooper, “what if I take your gun and shoot myself?”

The police affidavit says the trooper told him that wasn’t a good idea, but Kogan allegedly tried to take the gun anyway.

Police say Kogan had been asked by security to leave the casino because he seemed highly intoxicated and other patrons were complaining about him.

He faces other charges that include terroristic threats and resisting arrest. A call to a Philadelphia listing in Kogan’s name Wednesday rang several times before the line went dead.
