BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The Air Force has opened a new recruiting office in Bismarck.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1CAIiYJ ) that the previous office was closed for about a year after the building was damaged by fire.

Tech. Sgt. Ralph Smith is the Bismarck recruiter. He says the Air Force hasn’t had much of a presence in North Dakota so he hopes the new office will increase interest in the armed forces.

The Air Force also has recruiting offices in Fargo, Minot and Grand Forks.
