INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Indianapolis Auto Show is beginning its second century of showcasing cars.

The 101st edition of the auto show opens Friday at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. WRTV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1wH7Obp ) the event draws about 200,000 people a year.

More than 400 models from 35 different makers of domestic and import vehicles will be on display, ranging from high-end sports cars to sub-compact cars. Among the cars that will be at the show are the 50th anniversary Ford Mustang and Kyle Busch’s number 18 Toyota Camry.

The event runs through Jan. 1.
