BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - High winds have damaged two buildings in Buffalo and prompted gale warnings on Lake Ontario and wind advisories for travelers.

Local media report no injuries related to two partial building collapses in Buffalo blamed on high winds Christmas morning. The National Weather Service reported gusts of up to 67 mph and sustained winds above 40 mph in some lakeshore areas of western New York.

The weather service posted wind advisories across the state through Thursday afternoon and said travel would be difficult for high-profile vehicles.

Gale warnings were posted on Lake Ontario with waves as high as 15 to 20 feet.
