GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Georgia Southern didn't score in the final 4 minutes, but still held off North Carolina Greensboro 64-62 on Saturday, surviving a last-second miss.

Kyle Doyle, a freshman, hit a 3-pointer with 4:05 remaining that boosted he Eagles (11-12, 4-4 Southern) to a 64-59 lead. It hardly seemed enough in a game with 16 lead changes, but UNC Greensboro (11-13, 4-5) managed three points from the free-throw line in that span, missing two layups in the final minute, including one in the final second.

Jelani Hewitt led the Eagles with 23 points, including four 3-pointers, and was 7-for-7 at the line. Hewitt also dished five assists, including one to Doyle on the late 3-pointer, his only try from behind the 3-point line. Doyle finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Jordan Potts scored 13 for UNC Greensboro with Kyle Cain, who missed his final shot, and RJ White adding 11 each.
