LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Activist and comedian Dick Gregory is to speak at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center in Little Rock.

Gregory’s appearance is set for 7 p.m. on Feb. 21.

The event will begin with a screening of the documentary “COINTELPRO: The FBI’s War on Black America,” and Gregory will speak after the film.

Gregory is known as a performer for his social satire that challenged stereotypes of African Americans. He was active in the Civil Rights Movement and other political causes.

There is no charge to attend but seating is limited and reservations are required, either by calling the center or reserving online at MosaicTemplarsCenter.com.
