PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) - A Jackson County man has pleaded guilty to two counts of child exploitation.

James Ward entered the plea Monday before Circuit Judge Kathy King Jackson. Sentencing is scheduled for March 7.

The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1ghFHpu ) that Ward admitted downloading child pornography on two different devices. Prosecutors say Ward downloaded at least four images at 20 different times over a period of time.

Prosecutors are recommending a 40-year sentence on both counts to run concurrently with eight years to serve day-for-day.

The judge allowed Ward to remain free on bond pending sentencing.
