FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - Three men have been charged with using handguns to commit a robbery in a Fairbanks grocery store parking lot.

They’re being held without bail.

Two victims called police at 3:26 a.m. Sunday to say had been held up by two men in masks in the parking lot of a Safeway store in east Fairbanks.

The men demanded money and fled in a sedan.

Police two minutes later spotted the car and intercepted it in downtown Fairbanks.

Officers found two handguns and two black masks inside.

The two robbery victims identified Walls and Gunn and said the car was the one used by the robbers.
