70 to become citizens during Atlanta ceremony

ATLANTA (AP) - U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officials say 70 people are slated to become citizens during a naturalization ceremony in Atlanta.

Officials say U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Acting Director Lori Scialabba will administer the Oath of Allegiance and deliver the keynote speech during a ceremony at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum on Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.

Officials say people from 37 countries including Afghanistan, China, Cuba, Israel, and Ukraine are expected to become citizens during the ceremony.
