FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas has announced that club seat holders in Razorback Stadium will be able to buy beer and wine during football games beginning next season.

The school says the decision is pending the approval of a license its concession partner has applied for. It says applications have also been submitted for Bud Walton Arena and Baum Stadium, though no current plans exist to sell alcohol at those venues.

Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long says in a statement the alcohol sales have been requested by club-seat ticket holders.

The purchase, consumption and possession of alcohol will be limited to the club seats and won’t be allowed in outdoor seating or other public areas.
