FLORIANOPOLIS, Brazil (AP) - Coaches of the teams playing at the World Cup are in Brazil to discuss organizational details ahead of the tournament.

More than 20 coaches are in the southern city of Florianopolis for the FIFA-run workshop which lets teams know more about what to expect when they return for the World Cup in June.

FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke says the event serves to “clarify all organizational issues so that the teams are 100 percent ready to put on a great show” when the World Cup begins.

FIFA said 24 coaches had confirmed their presence at the two-day workshop that began Wednesday, but there were some last-minute withdrawals. Among those missing were Alejandro Sabella of Argentina, Germany’s Joachim Loew and Cesare Prandelli of Italy.
