WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - The Williston State College hockey team has won a second straight National Junior College Athletic Association championship.

The Tetons skated to a 2-0 win over Monroe Community College of New York on Sunday to take the crown.

Williston State also beat Monroe in last year’s title game.

The Tetons outscored both of their opponents at the NJCAA Frozen Four in Troy, N.Y. They won their first game 7-0 over Erie in Saturday’s semifinals. Sophomore goalie Tyler Ampe got both shutouts and was named tournament MVP.
