LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville couple who drew flocks of online viewers last year are at it again. “Fabian” and “Diana,” a pair of peregrine falcons, have prepared a nest box at Louisville Gas and Electric Co.’s Mill Creek Generating Station, and eggs have already appeared.

LG&E; and the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources set up a webcam last March inside the power plant’s nest box 300 feet above ground. The site is http://lge-ku.com/falcon . LG&E; says more than 24,000 online viewers from 52 countries visited the site in three months.

Meanwhile, peregrine falcons that have lived at the Milton-Madison Bridge through the years have a new box on the underside of the new bridge. Transportation officials say it will remain attached to the truss when the new bridge slides onto refurbished piers in March.
