The Missouri Senate passed legislation Thursday that would change requirements for students in unaccredited schools to transfer to better performing schools.

Voting “yes” were 21 Republicans and six Democrats.

Voting “no” were two Republicans and three Democrats.

One Republican was not present to vote.
