Connecticut stays No. 1 in The Associated Press poll Monday after cruising to two more victories.

The Huskies routed both Temple and Cincinnati to improve to 23-0 this season. UConn will host SMU and No. 4 Louisville this week with the game against the Cardinals on Sunday a rematch of last season’s national championship game.

Notre Dame, Stanford and Duke round out the first five teams. The Irish (21-0) also remain unbeaten after topping both Maryland and Duke on the road in the past week.

South Carolina, Baylor, Tennessee, Penn State and Maryland follow Duke.

Nebraska and Michigan State re-entered the Top 25 at No. 22 and 24. Florida State and Iowa State fell out.
