MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The DFL caucus that ended prematurely after chaos erupted at the Minneapolis meeting will be rescheduled.

DFL Chairman Ken Martin said Wednesday because the caucus wasn’t officially adjourned Tuesday night at the Bryan Cole Community Center, it will be reconvened at a date that’s not yet been set.

A fight broke out at the caucus which had drawn a crowd because of a challenge to longtime DFL state Rep. Phyllis Kahn. Many showed up to support Minneapolis School Board member Mohamud Noor.

One of the outcomes of the meeting was to elect 43 delegates to the Senate District 60 convention. Kahn and Noor are seeking the DFL endorsement at that convention.
